"Be careful, canceling your plan is impossible"
This is a solid tool for getting started on our own app. However, the customer service is chaotic, and it seems like they’ve never learned the importance of keeping customers satisfied. You can't handle (or terminate) your plan from the backend.

"My clients are crazy about the app!!"
My clients are crazy about the app!!! The pandemic made me rethink how I run my personal training biz. I couldn’t meet folks face-to-face, so I started off sending workouts through emails…but that didn’t really cut it for anyone. Fast forward to now…my app has been up and running for about a year and my clients absolutely LOVE IT! I use it to share workouts, videos, meal plans, you name it…AND I can set up appointments and take deposits right through the app. Big thanks to BuildFire!!!

"Definitely suggest this app if you're in need"
I definitely suggest this app if you're in need. It's super user-friendly. Priced just right. I've already recouped my costs. What else could you want?

"Got some queries while creating my app..."
I had a few questions pop up while I was working on my app, and they got back to me in less than an hour. The guidance was straightforward, and they really went the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied.

"Buildfire: A Brilliant Concept Gone Wrong - Avoid It!"
I was really looking forward to using this platform since the DIY feature and overall idea are fantastic. It does take some time to get the hang of it, but there's a lot of flexibility. So, why the one-star rating? The company is a complete mess. In under a year, I've dealt with five different project managers (check out their reviews on Glassdoor to understand the high turnover—it's a pretty rough work environment). Sure, I can roll with different folks, but after shelling out over 40k for custom contracts, the app is practically unusable because it keeps crashing. I had to halt sales of my app because my customers were fed up with all the glitches, and honestly, they have a point. Buildfire is a fantastic idea but a dreadful reality. Seriously, steer clear! Now, I'm on the hunt for a reliable company to help me rebuild my entire app elsewhere.

"Billed for 3 months right after starting 14-day trial"
I’m not too certain about the product, but the customer support is pretty unhelpful. After I signed up for the 14-day trial of the software, I got hit with a $567 charge the very next day for 3 months of service, and they said it can't be refunded. I thought I had a whole two weeks to figure out if it would meet my needs, but now I’m being told there’s no way to get my money back.

"Great potential, but ultimately disappointing"
My 17th interaction with Buildfire was just as frustrating as the previous 16. The app resources are limited, customer support is terrible, and it’s pricey—definitely not worth the investment. It all started off on a high note with a welcome video from the founder, but when they failed to deliver the promised app, I had to take things into my own hands. Turns out, they really don’t understand their own platform. Then they hit me with extra charges for the service. I wasn’t asking for anything outrageous—just wanted the app to switch from portrait to landscape. Three years later, and I’m still waiting. That’s just one issue; don’t even get me started on pinch to zoom. My app managed to survive, but not thanks to them.

"Terrible experience with this company..."
This is one of the most frustrating companies I've ever dealt with. I poured a ton of money into developing on their platform, but I never received a fully working app. They were mostly unresponsive during technical problems, and when I requested a refund for some of my monthly charges, they flat out refused.

"Buildfire's Sales Talk is Impressive"
Buildfire's sales talk is impressive. However, they fail to follow through. For $5,000, they assured me a two-month turnaround for a subscription reservation app. By the third month, not a single thing had been done. They came up with a bunch of excuses. They bickered over the logo, the business model, the features, and offered zero project management, no tracking of development, no contact numbers, and no accountability. Still, they sure know how to sell, so I’m giving them two stars for the quality of the hustle.

"Courteous Yet Terrible Service. No Help Provided."
Buildfire is the most courteous bunch of thieves you’ll come across. It seems they couldn’t even manage to get a feature on their own platform functioning for the whole three months of my subscription. They didn’t offer me any extension or refund. Consider yourself warned. TAKE YOUR CASH ELSEWHERE if you must. These folks are utterly inept.

"AVOID USING THEIR SERVICES!"
Man, I really should've checked the reviews before I jumped in. What a total waste of cash, effort, and time. They don't give a hoot about you or your business. Their honesty is questionable, and the way they communicate is just terrible. There are way too many tech problems, and hardly anything gets fixed. You'll just keep hearing "we're looking into it," and then crickets. It's way overpriced for what you actually receive. AVOID USING THEIR SERVICES! Consider yourself warned.

"Misleading Tactics"
I found out the hard way that after signing up to get into the locked areas, the app builder was totally malfunctioning. The guidance they provided didn’t match up with what the app builder actually did, and they didn’t even mention the subscription costs upfront. They’ll only offer you certain features as part of a package if you confront them about their misleading claims. The app builder performed great in the initial build sections, so I figured that unlocking the paid features would keep up that same level of quality.

"Awful Experience and a Total Waste of Cash"
I've been hanging around for over three months waiting for the app to drop. The customer support crew is clueless about what's going on, and the dev team keeps messing up, which is causing the App Store and Google Play to reject the submission. There's no solid explanation for us customers, just a whole lot of waiting.

"Decent Platform, But Be Careful"
Be careful with this one. It's a nice platform and works well as a business accelerator for testing out ideas, but I wouldn't count on it for the long haul. You really gotta stick to their guidelines—if you stray, things just stop working.

Keep an eye on the terms of service they sneak into every app; they could lead to some serious issues for businesses in Europe.

Overall, it gives off that typical vibe of a US West Coast startup—lots of flashy sales talk, about 80% of a solid product, but you can see a lack of depth in the staff's knowledge when they’re not following their scripts.

Way too many buzzwords like 'Fantastic' and 'Awesome'—not nearly enough focus on real client needs.

"Content Vanished, No Help or Refund"
This platform is quite lovely, and while there’s a bit of a learning curve, I nearly managed to finish a project on the cheapest plan.

Why I gave it just one star: what’s the use of a gorgeous product if your content just up and vanishes? Yep, it’s gone. I’ve been getting super vague responses for weeks now, and there’s no indication that the months of effort I put in will be returned. Honestly, the customer service is just terrible.
